St. Paul’s church is not an easy site for delivery. It is a large Baroque church, built of Portland stone, with a number of steep steps at the front, and then the Parish Office is up a spiral staircase, and at the end of a gallery of pews. I was notified at the last minute that due to unforeseen circumstances the expected assistance would not be available on the second day to help me with the placing of these machines in the labs. However, Tony Metcalf and Alan Reddecliff took it upon themselves to totally take over the unpacking and transporting of the machines from the car park to the labs whilst I dealt with the assembly in the labs – actually they helped with part of that as well!

I know the lads are employed to carry out this type work but I feel their extra input should be commended. Their professionalism and respect for the high value equipment was well noted by myself and by my customer and without these two guys the install could have been in disarray. They obviously work well together, are great team players within your company and do a mighty fine job!”

“I’m impressed on both how quick and professional the delivery team were. Having been told of the nightmares when the original device was deployed by another company, with weeks of mistakes and uncertainty, I was prepared for several hours of stripping and rebuilding.

Thankfully that wasn’t the case. An assessment of the site was made by the delivery crew and 15 minutes later the new printer was upstairs, while the old one was taken downstairs and put on the back of the delivery vehicle.

"I just wanted to say a big thank you to your crew members Percy and Michael who were in attendance on the following jobs this morning which I understand you were covering for Warrington.
As a result of their perseverance and resourcefulness we were able to avoid a costly abort involving a Pro1100 which was included. A very tight turn was not highlighted in the site survey nor in my conversations with the site contact when booking the job.
Initially it was thought that a false landing would need to be built, but the crew were able to find a way round this which resulted in the successful delivery of the machine. Once again Relay have done a great job and I thank the crew for their efforts."

"I attended site yesterday for the delivery of two Blood Banks at Poole General Hospital – Blood transfusion.

As I was on site I would like to give some first-hand positive feed-back.

The delivery route was congested traveling through  ED, then into the lab. Both units had to go through two very low doorways and it was incredibly tight.

All four crew members remained very professional at all times, taking care not to damage the units or property. (while being watched by five or six people) They communicated very well between themselves to ensure delivery was successful. They were all incredibly polite to everyone they interacted with and all four of them asked the customer if they were happy, which they were."
