Relay is currently undergoing an exciting and dynamic period of growth and development. This creates both challenges and opportunities with our infrastructure and team.

Relay Europe Technical TransportTo this end we are currently looking at the potential of new premises to meet the demands of our expanding business and we will keep our customers posted on our news when things progress further.

In addition to meet this kind of pressure you need the best kind of people, and we are very fortunate at Relay in this regard.  We have made some exciting new internal promotions decisions and I am delighted to announce the following appointments:

  • Tom Mcmahon, ex Warrington Operations Manager, becomes Relay’s new Head of Operations.  At present, he will be circulating between our HQ at Iver and our depots at Warrington and Coatbridge.  I have always said that I feel this role the most demanding at Relay but am 100% confident in Tom’s will and ability to succeed.
  • Chris Taylor takes over Tom’s position as Head of Operations at Warrington.  Chris has 15 years experience in the industry and will carry on Tom’s work at Warrington in fine style I am certain.
  • Michael Lawton is appointed as Traffic Manager at Warrington.  Michael has been at Warrington since the mid nineties and his dedication and enthusiasm are a credit to the company.

Last but by no means least, I am delighted to confirm that Dan Rangecroft is being made a Director of Relay Technical Transport. This I hope reflects and reinforces the crucial nature of Dan’s involvement in our current and future business.

All of us at Relay look forward to offering our customers the highest levels of service in our specialist area of transport & logistics, handling the high value business, scientific and medical equipment of our customers with the greatest care and reliability.
