Throughout the shipment process there is never any doubt about the location or status of the delivery. At the final delivery location Relay crews will use their handheld PDAs to:
- Obtain end-user electronic signatures, viewable online by the customer in real time
- Provide real time non-conformance reporting where applicable
- Obtain customer signatures on all paperwork to be scanned and available 24 hours after delivery
Instant proof is provided that delicate equipment assets have arrived safely, including the time of delivery, confirmation that goods are undamaged and electronic signature of the recipient, all of which can be viewed by the customer online. This is particularly important given the high value of the equipment normally carried by the Relay fleet. Transparency is ensured and performance can be analysed, using online information to measure against service level expectations. Management reports can be provided in a range of formats to suit individual customer requirements.
