Develop is probably the only photocopier manufacturer to be able to offer its dealerships next day delivery as a consistent standard throughout the UK. This stems from the highly efficient warehousing and transit operation set up by Relay in cooperation with the customer, Develop Sales (UK). 

 

 

Integration of the customer’s automated system with Relay’s Mandata platform has supported the logistics that underpins the palletised boxed dealer deliveries. On average 300 Develop photocopiers are imported monthly from Germany and the equipment is immediately transferred to the operation’s base at our Warrington depot. This provides the customer with a dedicated 8,000 sq ft temperature controlled storage area. When the equipment arrives, Relay will carry out careful testing, PDI, stock checking and reporting.  

 

Approx 800 to 1,000 separate pick and pack consignments per month are delivered from Warrington or channelled through our Iver and Coatbridge depots to provide the nationwide next day deliveries. The dealer receives a machine that is ready for installation and all packaging is removed by the Relay delivery team in line with waste regulations. Photocopiers can also be delivered directly to user sites, installed professionally and given the green button set-up test.
