With four warehouses at Iver and expanded facilities at Warrington and Coatbridge, Relay now has approximately 90,000 square feet of storage area to offer its customers. This is not dead space but highly specialised and resourced warehousing.
Extremely secure, fully racked, and temperature controlled, our storage areas are ideal for accommodating valuable and fragile electronic equipment at locations that are convenient for customers in key UK business regions. They are well placed to serve both national and pan-European distribution networks.
That’s just the beginning. Along with their value as hubs for storage and distribution, Relay’s depots provide invaluable centres for on-site activities such as training, demonstration, pre-delivery installation and refurbishment.
For instance, customers will frequently send their engineers to build boxed machines, integrating separate components such as document feeders and toner cartridges into the photocopier system in training for future deliveries. Other customers use our depots to refurbish second hand hardware, repairing and replacing parts before sending machines out for onward resale.
Iver, Warrington and Coatbridge are staffed with expert technicians with experience in handling all types of consignment and logistical requirement, including very tight scheduling. They provide an important support for our customers and their skill and service commitment is essential to the success of Relay’s storage and distribution network.
